Digital Wallet Features by Kantar Public

This report assesses euro area citizens’ perceptions concerning concrete examples of digital wallet features, as depicted in short, animated videos.

This report aims to provide the European Central Bank with a deeper understanding of digital payment preferences in the euro area, in order to support designing potential features of a possible digital euro.

Focus group sessions were carried out in all euro area countries (12/22-01/23), involving 321 participants.

Qualitative study, thus results may not be representative. Findings are descriptive.

Non-Fungible Token (#NFT) by International Trademark Association (INTA).

The massive, sudden growth of #NFT has left the legal community - the intellectual property (IP) community in particular - looking for answers.

This white paper explores NFTs, how they fit into the current legal landscape, and legal interpretations of them, and provides information for brand owners and lawyers.

NFTs do not always fit neatly together with existing legal doctrines.

Moreover, new and emerging technologies do not fit neatly on current structures for brand protection and enforcement.

Adding to the difficulty of the quick expansion of NFTs is the overarching ethos of the #metaverse, which emphasizes decentralization.

The paper identifies various legal issues associated with NFTs e.g. : 1. NFT protection 2. trademark filings 3. infringement issues

#Blockchain for scaling climate action by World Economic Forum

The report recommends: #blockchain industry should learn from the evolution of the climate industry, build more multi-stakeholder partnerships and focus on scaling responsibly.

Five trends:

1 Tapping into #Web3 incentives to strengthen existing climate initiatives

2 More ambitious net-zero commitments

3 Digital MRV solutions emerging as a unifying market force

4 Growing recognition of the benefits of data ownership and interoperability

5 Collaborative culture and the role of community

Five core challenges:

1 Implementation at scale will require unprecedented speed and coordination

2 Reputational challenges facing the industry

3 Overcoming complexity and education gaps

4 Maintaining a focus on real-world impact

5 Lack of regulatory clarity
