Water Gratitude: A Simple Practice
TL;DR: Structured water is a hotly debated topic, but what if restructuring our water could be as simple as spending 30 seconds saying "thank you" before drinking? This simple act has potential benefits with zero side effects. Will you give it a try?
Have you ever heard of structured water?
Keep reading to discover why taking care of the water you drink could be one of the simplest ways to enhance your personal wellbeing.
In the 1990s, Dr. Masaru Emoto famously performed a study on the molecular structure of water and how energy and words from human consciousness affect the crystalline structure of ice. He froze the water in the experiment and studied its shapes under a microscope.
For one sample, he exposed the water to both spoken and written words, pictures, and music filled with positive and loving energy before freezing. For another sample, he exposed the water to hateful energy before freezing.
The ice formations exposed to hateful energy resulted in chaotic and unpleasant structures. In contrast, the ice exposed to positive and loving energy formed beautiful and incredible geometric molecular formations. This study demonstrated that water reacts to human consciousness. With that in mind, we can understand how the water in our bodies may store “memories” of everything we are exposed to.
At this point, you're probably wondering, is this legit science or a hoax? After all, structured water is a hotly debated theory among scientists and on the Internet. While it remains an unproven theory and structured water must undergo rigorous scientific testing to be accepted as valid, I enjoy conducting my own experiments and being my own scientist.
Think about it: whether we're using water for hydration, washing our food, or showering, it's important to revive the "dead" quality of water that has been running through our pipes and the chemicals that exist within it. Imagine being living beings but using dead water—it can't be good for us. If Dr. Masaru Emoto's study turns out to be true, there are many benefits to taking care of the water we consume. Here are some ways I take care of my water:
Step 1: Filter your water. There are many water filtration options that filter heavy metals and remove fluoride (depending on where you live and if your drinking water has fluoride). Educate yourself and do your research thoroughly.
Step 2: After filtering out those chemicals, restructure the water to restore its living quality before using it.
Ways to restructure water:
- Set loving intentions and messaging for 30 seconds before drinking your water.
- Play sound waves, music, and mantras next to your water, even just for a few minutes.
- Put crystals, especially elite shungite, in your water for 12 hours.
- Use the sun to charge water in blue-tinted containers for 1-2 hours.
- Use copper vessels to let the water sit for at least 12 hours.
- Use a combination of the above.
These simple and inexpensive steps can help you revive (or restructure) the water you drink. Whether it's legitimate science or not, taking a little time to care for my water is an act of self-love. The goal is to restructure the water to resemble water flowing from a mountain spring, allowing you to feel the uplifting energy in the water.
Happy drinking!
