Strengthening international research impact

Changing our understanding of the Earth's magnetic field 

Led by Professor Alban Pothérat , our Research Centre for Fluid and Complex Systems team have used a scale model of the Earth’s liquid core to learn more about the planet’s magnetic field. This could have global implications for science and technology.

Creating a safer online world for women and girls 

Dr. Lindsay Balfour, PhD and Professor Adrienne Evans developed a framework for a digital toolkit that could improve the online safety of women and girls worldwide. Their work culminated in a summit on preventing digital gendered violence at our Brussels Hub.
