We are proud to introduce the two new colleagues who recently joined our international team, Alicja Brzuskiewicz  and Annalisa Mortellaro!

Alicja has a strong background in finance, having worked in Vienna, Frankfurt and Warsaw. Her experience at EY developed her consulting skills with a focus on international transactions and investment controlling across different asset classes.

Annalisa brings experience from the Venture Capital world at Plug and Play Tech Center. She has worked on pre-seed and seed investments in various sectors and has specialized in Fintech and Open Innovation projects with corporate partners.

🤝 Updates from the Experts-in-Residence Program

We recently concluded the next round of our Experts-in Residence (EiR) program, welcoming four experts from our corporate sponsors, namely Raiffeisen Bank International AG, Raiffeisen-Holding Niederösterreich-Wien and Raiffeisen-Landesbank Steiermark, for a 1-week-long intensive Venture Capital experience.

We have crafted a fresh corporate program structure aimed at fostering synergies, rapid learning and valuable knowledge exchange among participants, within a week full of insightful workshops, learning sessions and meaningful connections.

Mastercard Fintech Forum 2024

Mastercard is organizing a series of events across Central Europe to identify, accelerate and realize the next game-changing fintech technologies. At the recent Mastercard Fintech Forum 2024, Maximilian Schausberger participated as panelist, sharing his experience on fintech trends, fundraising strategies and growth trajectories. The session then sparked insightful conversations between emerging fintechs and industry leaders.

PODIM Panel: The Rise of Superapps

Thomas Muchar was recently invited to participate in a panel at Podim Conference, held in Maribor, Slovenia, discussing the rise of Superapps in Europe. Here’s a glimpse of his perspective on the matter that he shared within the panel conversation:

Magdalena Chałas was a jury member at Italy's largest international startup competition - We Make Future.

She participated on the main stage for both the Startup Competition and the Global Impact Challenge, as well as on the startup stage for the Future of Finance & Insurance competition.
