EC2 Random Name Generator

EC2 Random Name Generator

In this weeks's project we were tasked with creating a random name generator for EC2 Instances. On top of learning Python, I am working with Visual Code Studio, and learning to navigate Github which will be the home of my projects moving forward. In this project I created a script that allowed the user to input how many EC2 instances they wanted to name and output the same amount of unique names. Then I made the instance department based. Once the code was finished and tested and running correctly, I created a function.

What I've learned so far is that even the most basic of code can be powerful when applied properly. The scripts have to be formatted properly or it will not run. I've encountered issues with indentation, putting quotes in the proper position and making sure to include brackets and parentheses when necessary. A theme that has came up again is attention to detail and I feel like my experience in law enforcement has me prepared. I hope you find this article helpful and thank you for following my journey.
