Cybersecurity ... once again!

The harsh reality of cyber security now presents one more opportunity! Taking it as a given that we are all now minding our passwords and protecting our company and personal data, the new issue is a serious staff shortage. A global survey of 2,300 cyber security professionals shows that almost 60% of organisations have unfilled vacancies, both technical and non technical, relating to the issue. Techcentral.ie and Techpro Magazine are media partners to an event entitled “Filling the Cybersecurity Skills Gap” at the IMI, Dublin on 3 October, which will  look at the threat landscape and how to tackle the skills gap that has emerged.
