In this week’s Hedge Fund Alert: Rosetta Analytics has closed its doors, done in by a difficult fundraising environment despite solid performance over its five years. The firm has sold its proprietary technology to a joint venture formed by one of Rosetta’s original seeders. Elsewhere, a former WorldQuant portfolio manager is in the process of launching an AI-powered statistical-arbitrage firm, KelAI Capital. And Hedge Fund Alert turns 25 this month.
