Last week, I had the pleasure of participating in the annual Forbes CIO Summit in New York alongside Microsoft's Jaime Teevan and Airtable's Alon Bartur. Forbes' Alex Knapp moderated an engaging discussion about a topic top of mind for all technology decision makers: GenAI integration. Across Walmart International, we have a number of GenAI use cases. We've launched GenAI search, which allows our customers to mission-based searches. So, if they need to purchase items for a Thanksgiving dinner party, it finds items that are best for that mission vs. thinking through each item as needed. GenAI is powering associate features such as My Assistant, which assists them in working smarter, faster and more efficiently. It is now in the hands of our associates in 13 countries, and they've used it to ask 1.5 million questions. The more we embed GenAI, the more there will be a multiplier effect across the organization.
