⛰️ Career Update: I’ve joined the engineering team at Sierra! After 8 wonderful years leading engineering and product teams at Mixpanel, it was tough to make a pivot. Here’s what ultimately drew me to Sierra: 1. Founders: I was blown away by Bret Taylor & Clay Bavor's vision for Sierra and their intentionality in building it. 2. Talent: It’s the strongest team I’ve ever seen across eng, product, and GTM. 3. Customers: Sierra only gets paid if our agents deliver value. This aligns every employee around customers. It also shows up in our marketing, which is all about customer stories. 4. Problem: How do you build AI agents with the dynamism of LLMs, the reliability of code, and the flexibility to adapt to any business? I wanted to spend the next several years of my career solving this problem. 5 months in (yes, this is very belated)... it’s better than I expected on all of the above. Beyond that, it's just fun to be in the office every day building useful things with smart people. We’re looking for exceptional engineers in SF to help us build Sierra.
