Back in the office today after attending a sales conference in Salt lake city last week and was reviewing some notes from the event. The one thing that really resonated with me was that sales is a transfer of energy and if you have a negative energy, you will struggle. Additional sales training or strategy sessions aren't what you need, you need to work on your internal energy. If you're "not feeling it" there is a real good chance that your team, prospect, spouse etc is not feeling YOU.

Embracing the Grind: How "Summer in Texas" Shaped My Professional Mindset Door-to-door sales in the Texas heat isn't for the faint of heart. My time in solar sales pushed me out of my comfort zone, fostering adaptability and resilience. As an appointment setter, I endured long hours under the scorching sun, facing rejection after rejection. Despite moments of doubt and yearning for air conditioning, I persevered. One week in at Arctic Wolf and I am blown away by the focus on our partners here. Every Sales Rep on our team I've spoken to has asked, "how can we work better with partners", "Here are the gaps I see, how can we address for our partners?" etc. It's a partner first, partner-led, partner only mindset.
