Major operators Washington State Ferries and Kitsap Transit have received these grants. The ferry grants appear to be in high demand: The FTA reported it received 43 eligible project proposals totaling over $600M, more than twice that amount it ended up funding.

Washington ferry operators have received over $42 million in funding since 2020 through the Federal Transit Administration's Ferry Grants, a program expanded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Exciting news last week for the City of Philadelphia: $11 million of this funding will go to equitably expanding EV charging infrastructure throughout our City and region. So proud of our regional working group with Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Philadelphia Parking Authority, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and PECO that built this project together. We know that charging access is one of the top barriers to EV adoption- through this grant we'll be able to expand our regional charging network by 200 ports. Can't wait to get started!
