You must protect your brand. Protecting your brand means guarding its perception with intention and clarity. Like Under Armour’s rallying cry, “Protect This House,” your brand deserves that same fierce commitment. At Motto, we believe your brand should do the heavy lifting— Projecting a powerful, unmistakable identity that doesn’t leave room for misinterpretation. By investing in your brand, you’re not just protecting it... You’re defining the narrative. It’s about choosing what you stand for, the values you project, and the vision that guides you. Let it drift, and you’re inviting others to define it for you. wearemotto.com

I don't feel like enough brand guidelines go over favicons. This is often one of the smallest representations of your brand's mark and an excellent test for things like contrast in an environment out of your control (like seeing a transparent mark on a yellow window tab vs a blue one).

Your brand isn’t what you say it is. It’s what people say about you when you’re not in the room. Logos, colors, and taglines are great—but they don’t define your brand. What does? Reputation. It’s the way you treat clients when no one’s watching. It’s how your team speaks about you when you’re not around. It’s the experience people walk away with after they’ve interacted with you. Your brand is built in the moments no one sees, and it’s carried by the conversations you’ll never hear. So, what’s being said about you when you’re not in the room? That’s your brand.
