💬 My most recent working experience just ended on Friday after almost 3 great years. 👉 Some takeaways I leave with: * Don't underestimate the power of building good lasting relationships * I'm grateful for the opportunity. It allowed me to grow so much both personally and professionally * I connected very well with my peers and my leaders * I tried to overperform as much as possible * Adapted to company culture * Their priorities became mine * I always wanted to make my team and my leaders proud of my work and commitment * Not taking the opportunity for granted 👉 Things I would have done better, some occasions? * Working closely with my leaders to maintain good practices during good periods * Doing more does not always mean doing better * Accept that sometimes, my opinion was not needed; for right or wrong * If your goals and objectives stop matching those of the company, it might be time to either communicating to troubleshoot and/or consider other options to work for those goals. ☀️ Now, I look forward to inspiring others and be inspired by other opportunities.

Hey Network and not only! 👋 Christina here, back from a fantastic break! I've been on quite an adventure: doing the Camino de Santiago (Porto 🇵🇹 -> Santiago 🇪🇸 in 9 days!), making childhood dreams come true by attending P!nk 👩🎤 show in Liverpool, I’m about to build a "Stranger Things" LEGO set, helping in volunteering in pet shelters 🐶 and catching up with my amazing ex-team of BEST professionals 🇺🇦 🇨🇴 Iryna Kravchuk Anita Firman Catalina Garzón in Lviv and that is just a beginning). Now, I'm recharged and ready to jump back into the business world! I'm on the lookout for roles like 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 OR 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 OR related positions. The brilliant scenario is to join a company where I can build processes, frameworks, and policies from the ground up OR help a company go global by managing their talent strategy. Of course manage the team (if exists) or hire, considering the strategy; and not only. I’m open to different opportunities, but here are a few key things I value and look for in a company:  • 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 in communication, processes, and decisions  • A clear understanding of the “𝘞𝘩𝘺?” 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 and the expected results  • 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘺, readiness for 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴, and 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 to sharing thoughts  • Agile, bold and fail fast approach Location: UA at the moment, ready for business trips. Over the past month, I've “passively” spoken with a few companies, and from my experience, I want to emphasise how much I value transparency.  It’s key to making your company be more efficient and significantly shortening the process from the idea to the expected result. Plus make it human and ensuring your recruiters (even Head of Recruitment) come across as genuine people, not just another person sending irrelevant feedback after a conversation (based on real experience twice))))). After sharing my recent experience navigating the job market, I've had some time to reflect and gather my thoughts. It's easy to feel frustrated when you’re told you have "too much experience" for a role, but I’ve realized that this feedback is an invitation to rethink my approach. In today’s competitive landscape, being adaptable is key. So, what’s my next move? Reassessing My Value Proposition: I’m focusing on how I can better articulate the unique value I bring to organizations. It’s not just about experience; it’s about how that experience can be a catalyst for growth, efficiency, and innovation in any role. Targeting the Right Opportunities: I’m fine-tuning my search to align with companies that recognize and seek out the deep expertise I offer. This way, I can ensure my next role is a true match for my skills and career aspirations. Staying Resilient and Open-Minded: Setbacks like these are part of the journey. They remind me to stay resilient and keep pushing forward, with the knowledge that the right opportunity is out there. I’ve always been told to say "yes" to every opportunity. It was something my mum drove into my sister and I at a young age. She didn’t want us to miss out on the opportunities she never had. But, this has led me to: ➡️Having bad FOMO if I don’t say yes ➡️Never being able to say "no" because I see it as a "missed opportunity" ➡️Taking ages to make decisions because I overthink how it will impact my future ➡️Being a people pleaser ➡️Piling more onto my plate because it’s only “one more job” ➡️Never giving myself rest ➡️Dwelling on “what could’ve been” if I don’t take up the opportunity I’m always grateful for the opportunities I’ve taken. But, sometimes it’s more beneficial to say “no” when you have a full plate. Here’s a few questions to ask yourself: ✨Do I have time to say “yes” to this opportunity? ✨Will it help or hinder my future self? ✨Am I listening to my intuition or am I trying to please others? ✨Do I actually want this opportunity? ✨Am I overthinking this? Trust the decision you make in the moment with the information you have. And that’s all you can do. 🌟 How do you choose which opportunities to take? #opportunities #decision #trustyourself

Reflecting on my IT journey, I've realized the importance of finding the right company that values what I bring to the mix and sees the positive impact they can have by adding me to their team. It's not just about having IT expertise and excellent communication skills. Those jobs are everywhere. I want to work with a company where I instinctively feel a connection because of mutually shared values and the company's vision. I need to believe in the mission, because that is what fuels my excitement and desire to do what I do best to make a positive difference in the lives of co-workers who rely on me to be there for them. Trusting my instincts in conversations with potential employers has been key to uncovering opportunities where we both see the potential in each other. Don't settle for roles solely based on technical fit; seek roles where you can contribute uniquely and make a difference. Let's talk if you feel the same way!

Some reflections, one week into my job search: 1. The way my network has SHOWN UP is incredible. I have gotten so many offers to write letters of recommendation, chat over coffee, or to help find opportunities. I am so immensely grateful for each and every one of you. 2. The first thing most in my network have said regarding my departure from my last company is, "Congratulations!!". No matter how this turns out, I will never doubt that this was the right decision. Scary, but right! 3. I am focusing on being "gainfully unemployed". The last thing I want to do right now is sit on the couch and stare at the wall. I'm focusing on skilling up, reading, and a few side ventures that challenge my creativity and intellect. I'm grateful for this time. This is a hard journey, mostly because I'm a planner and my next step is ambiguous, but I am channeling anxiety in ambiguity into action, and I am so looking forward to what's to come. ❤
