This provides an opportunity for communities and local places to take a stake in clean power projects, delivering new social and economic value and supporting more positive engagement in the energy transition” and features in Great British Energy's founding statement. 🏆We are starting 2025 stronger and greener than ever. Yesterday, Elevate joined NBC5 to discuss the City of Chicago's latest milestone -- City-owned buildings solely running on renewable energy. This milestone is a huge deal and proof that green energy is here to stay. While this is currently in City-owned buildings, I am excited about this work and hope that in the near future, this resource could be available to all residents, regardless of zip code. I am optimistic that leaders from across the country will look at cities like Chicago and will understand the critical need for renewable energy.
