As a big fan of both Liverpool Football Club and Google this was the collab that I didn't know I needed ... but was thankful for in the moment! 👀 Watching the match at the time, it was crazy "woah, did VVD just grab that fan's phone?!" The mammoth moment was only heightened by the fact that this goal gave LFC an injury time winner (again) aiding in their title aspirations for the season, it was a BIG goal. 📈 This is the kind of creative, new-era marketing that is going to take the headlines, get the impression and deliver the impact. The difficult thing though, is that it has to be totally unique to that audience, otherwise it won't have the large-scale effect you're looking for. 👏 I applaud how much effort would have gone into pulling this off. Can you imagine sitting in the team talk, pre-game, and being told "just in case anyone scores, please look out for this man who will have a Google Pixel phone for you to take into the celebrations!" Amazing 😎
