Because when we reflect on our journey at Advize, it’s clear that we’ve earned a place among the top healthcare consulting firms out there. “WTF?” because it’s surreal to see how far we’ve come. The growth, the challenges we’ve faced, and the evolution we’ve undergone—it’s been quite a ride. “Told you so” because after years of hard work, dedication, and a relentless commitment to improving healthcare, we know we’ve made a real impact. We’ve stayed focused, pushed boundaries, and consistently delivered results that matter. “Huh…” because when we take a step back, we realize this recognition didn’t come from an external source but from the trust we’ve built with our clients and the outcomes we’ve achieved together. 🎉 What a year of growth! Over the past 12 months, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to lead three new launches and two expansions, all driven by one goal: Transform the prior authorization process and improve healthcare delivery. I joined Cohere Health in late November 2023 and hit the ground running. It’s been a year of fast-paced progress and impactful launches: 🔹 Rhyme Go-Live: My first launch, introducing a headless intake solution for prior authorizations. A seamless start to our mission. 🔹 Epic Payer Platform: Co-led this game-changing integration, enabling providers to submit authorizations, attach clinical documentation, and get real-time updates—all without leaving the Epic system. 🔹 Customer Launch: Successfully collaborated with a Minnesota-based organization to implement a streamlined prior authorization process, driving efficiency and enhancing provider experience. 🔹 Customer Expansion: Wrapped up the year with two back-to-back expansions. First in October and the second successfully completed today, ending the year on a high note! These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible teamwork at Cohere Health. Someone asked: "How did you find your current role and diversify?" I wanted to share here in case it's helpful to anyone else. Current roles: With my current roles, I forged my own path as the companies are all my own. In the beginning, I locumed alongside to bring in income as the businesses were growing - eventually I just didn't have the time to do the locum shifts. Strangely, I had no aim to leave practice as I loved it, but I was faced with choosing it or my business - a novel but exciting place to be in. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of work over the years to get to that point. In terms of tips for diversifying, I'd say: 1. Network network network Ditch the clichés of what that might mean, really it's chats and relationship building. Send DMs on LinkedIn, ask friends who they know and dare to forge new connections. 2. Get clear on your strengths We have so many transferrable skills from practice, and getting really clear on those and how they apply to new roles can give us confidence as we move forward. You are highly qualified professionals that have so many strengths. 3. Be kind to yourself Moving out of clinical work for some people feels like a bit of an odd identity shift. It can bring all sorts of feelings from excitement to sadness and beyond, hold space for those and be gentle. Find the people who you can be you around too. I've found that lots of people will have opinions on this transition. I still get told "what a shame you wasted all those years" by family members, even with multiple thriving businesses and an RCVS Inspiration Award; they just see the world through a different lens, and that's ok. The time was never wasted. Remember, the most important opinion is your own. We are humans beyond our job titles, and the cool thing is that we can always go back. Obviously not an exhaustive list, but if it's helpful to anyone else. #veterinary #diversifying

Why I should wake up and live for growth of my Hospital? 1. I'm lagging behind on every aspect with my competitor 2. I have good hospital infrastructure but no strategies for further growth 3. I do not have professional management, marketing & buisness development team 4. I haven't had investor attraction as I have not focused on ethical hospital administration and I have not invested on management cost 5. I have not invested on my second liners & succession plan 6. I have not documented my vision for at least next five years where I would like to take this Hospital 7. May, the month of enthusiasm and determination 🙌🏼 👌🏼⬇️⬇️⬇️ As I step back into the world of health and social care, I'm reminded of the journey that brought me here. The photo below captures the excitement of my early days as a home manager, where every challenge was an opportunity for growth. My mentor's words about never losing the honeymoon phase if you love what you do still resonate with me today. Despite facing personal hurdles, including my cancer diagnosis before christmas and 2 major surgeries, I've remained committed to my passion for making a difference. Balancing multiple roles, from healthcare management to venturing into tattooing and entrepreneurship whilst I remain afloat, has been a testament to resilience whilst I regained my focus. Now, as I embark on a new venture, I'm fueled by a vision of redefining elderly care. From crafting company manuals to envisioning a work culture of diversity, inclusion and fun. My goal is to deliver exceptional care while fostering a supportive team environment ensuring we are all united as we expand. During my treatment this month, I'm prioritizing policy reviews, training structures, and implementing cutting-edge technology into care planning (we are keeping this aspect a secret for now 🤫). To anyone navigating difficult times, especially those affected by cancer, I urge you to harness your emotions as fuel for growth. With the right mindset, anything is possible. Don’t let disappoint or dissatisfaction damage your confidence and knowledge, every time you get knocked down just get back up, shake it off and show the world your capabilities.
