Are you overshooting the MVP for your SaaS Product? Here’s why feature constraints could be your game-changer. 🚀 I want to share a crucial tip about building your Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for SaaS products: 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀. The essence of an MVP is to focus on delivering the core value of your product within a short timeframe. A good rule of thumb is to aim for something that can be built in three months, max. ⏱️ When planning your MVP, make sure the features you choose are achievable with your development team within this period. This approach not only keeps your team focused but also ensures you can quickly test and iterate based on real user feedback. Remember, the goal of an MVP is to learn as much as possible about your customers with the least amount of effort. So, keep it simple, stay focused, and you'll be on your way to building a product that truly resonates with your audience. 💡 What's been your biggest challenge in building an MVP? Let's discuss in the comments! 💬 #SaaS #MVP #FeatureConstraints #ProductDevelopment #StartupTips #CoreValue #Agile #LeanStartup #UserFeedback #Focus #Teamwork #ProductStrategy #Innovation #CustomerInsights

What matters most when scaling global products? Lots of diverse opinions from the panel (Ronald Cummings-John, Hanna Mayhew, Malte Scholz and Ross Webb, MBA) on when and how to scale products globally. There's always going to be a spectrum, of balancing local needs vs global scale. Product managers tend to have a global view 🌏 to provide both consistency of product experience but also easy of operation and ROI, knowing when to bend, and when to adapt to local needs is hard. The key thing is to remember is that we need to listen to both the customers and our own teams (sales and customers success) in those markets. #productmanagement #globalscaling #SaaS #customerfocus

We recently facilitated a conversation on going multi-product between 25 senior vertical SaaS operators and Ershad Jamil and Harpreet Ahluwalia, two incredible operators who were critical in creating the multi-product strategy for vertical SaaS giant ServiceTitan, as a part of our VSaaS Collective. One theme covered during the session was starting with personas and ending with products. Ershad and Harpreet explained that if you are going multi-product, it is probably better to structure your internal team around different user personas (and how to solve their problems) than to think in terms of starting new “product lines.” As the multi-product effort matures, it becomes more helpful to structure product teams around “core” vs. “growth” products.
