Instead of solely focusing on how #AI has impacted #jobcreation, I believe it’s equally important to explore how #AI has positively reshaped our ways of #thinking, #working, #innovating and #collaborating—unlocking new levels of #performance, #productivity, and #skillenhancement. I wonder if other think tanks, research institutions, or consulting firms have conducted surveys to dive deeper into this dual narrative. As #generativeAI, #AIagents, and other transformative technologies continue to shape the #FutureofWork, understanding both their positive contributions and potential challenges is not just valuable—it’s essential. What are your thoughts? Have you come across studies or insights that address this balance? #AI #Generativeai #AIagents #FutureofWork #visualcapitalist

Can AI Think for Itself? I feel I don't have to do much more than state the question. But I'll add this: how you answer will reveal a lot about how you perceive AI and how you'll utilize it. AI strategies share basic components like data, training, and KPIs. However, the belief you hold about AI's capability to think for itself significantly influences your approach. If You Think AI Cannot Think for Itself: Your strategy will likely focus on inputs. You'll emphasize controlling the inputs to manage outputs, aiming to increase your chances of success with AI onboarding. If You Think AI Can Think for Itself: Your strategy will focus on creating a collaborative environment. You'll consider both inputs and outputs, fostering a mindset of continuous change and evolution. This perspective acknowledges that AI, as a thinker, cannot be entirely controlled. There's no right or wrong answer here—just different paths depending on your organization's maturity level. Generative AI is transforming industries by automating creativity and streamlining decision-making. However, achieving the best outcomes requires more than just deploying AI tools—it demands a thoughtful balance with human cognitive skills. Here are three key strategies to strike this balance: 1️⃣ Leverage AI for Efficiency, Not Replacement 2️⃣ Cultivate Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence 3️⃣ Iterative Collaboration Between Humans and AI When Generative AI complements cognitive skills, organizations can unlock innovation, maintain authenticity, and deliver exceptional outcomes. It’s not about choosing one over the other but embracing the synergy between them. https://lnkd.in/grVpgsyD Chris Westfall addresses the challenge and the need to strike the right balance in his post in Forbes published yesterday (link attached). #GenerativeAI #CognitiveSkills #AIInnovation #DigitalTransformation #FutureOfWork #AIandHumans #TechLeadership #AIIntegration
