A packed but very rewarding few days with the Lenovo team at #LenovoTechWorld and #LenovoAnalystEvent! As a first-time attendee I greatly appreciated not only the deep dives into each of the business units (client devices, infrastructure and services/solutions), but the opportunty to hear from leadership about how these units are coming together to create 'One Lenovo' - harnessing the power of the combined company in a more joined up way should help drive a more meaningful and out-sized impact in the market overall. Here are some of my takeaways: - Lenovo's #AI story is coming on nicely. The #SmarterAIforAll focus is strong, and underscores its differentiation as a broad AI enabler at the personal and enterprise level, especially as #agenticAI transitions from app-centric to user-centric experience. Its #HybridAI strategy in the enterprise builds on a strong base in HPC and CSP, a good partnership of course with NVIDIA others, and an open approach. Strong validation of its approach from customers incl Lotus Cars Europe, Banner|Aetna, MOC Alliance. I really like the focus on helping customers with FastStart, while the Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage with NVIDIA highlights its full stack capabilities. Still early days but Lenovo is well positioned as orgs move from PoC to operational deployment of AI. - Lenovo's transition from product shop to an enabler of enterprise and business outcomes/solutions continues at pace, with Solutions/Services Group playing a key role. Loved Ken Wong quote "the customer wants more from us... we are responding." I particularly like offerings such as #TruScale #GPUasaService that will help more mainstream/smaller enterprises begin their AI journey, with emphasis on faster ROI and de-risking. Enterprise Strategy Group research validates these challenges, with lack of skills/expertise #1 challenge in #GenAI. - Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group also evolving. Recent growth here is off the charts (65% yony!) but focus is on return to profit and simplifying portfolio as it continues to make in-roads into SMB/enterprise. IMO Lenovo's capabilities overall here are underappreciated - e.g. with #Neptune it has differentiated story for #liquidcooling and with recent explosive interest and new 6th gen offerings it's time to lose its 'best kept secret' tag. - As well as BU execs, it was fascinating to hear from marketing leaders incl. Flynn Maloy David Rabin Emily Ketchen Jeff Shafer around how Lenovo is raising its branding and marketing game. Top level partnerships with world's most widely watched (FIFA #Worldcup26) and most technically advanced (Formula 1) sports are exposing audiences globally to its breadth of capabilities. Fantastic example of CEO Yuanqing Yang's drive to build a global powerhouse around the 'One Lenovo' philosophy. Finally, thanks to the awesome Analyst Relations team incl. Donna Jenks, MBA Scott Amoros (He/Him/His) and Tom Morrissey for putting together a first-rate event!
