I'm excited to share that I joined ESCP Business School London this January 2024, starting an incredible journey into the world of Entrepreneurship as part of their Masters in Management program. The course has been truly amazing, and studying under the guidance of Professor Davide Sola has been an enlightening experience. His insights and teachings have profoundly shaped my understanding of the entrepreneurial landscape. The Entrepreneurship specialization covered pivotal subjects such as "Enterprise Buildup and Renewal," "Creative Confidence and Discipline Experimentation," "Organising and Leading for Growth," and "The Art and Science of Selling and Growth Hacking." Each of these subjects has equipped me with crucial knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the modern startup ecosystem. Moreover, the ESCP curriculum also delved into essential areas like Law, Sustainability, and Human Resource Management, preparing us to proactively address contemporary challenges in the business world. Overall, my experience at ESCP has been incredibly enriching, and I am excited to apply these learnings to my entrepreneurial ventures 🚀 #ESCP #London #UK #Entrepreneurship #BusinessSchool #StartupLife #LifelongLearning #Innovation #Leadership #GrowthHacking

🚀 From Ideas to Innovation: Lessons from The Lean Startup This week in my MBA program Oneday, I delved into the importance of testing ideas early and often. The Build-Measure-Learnframework from The Lean Startup by Eric Ries offers a systematic way to innovate: 1️⃣ Build a minimal version of your idea. 2️⃣ Measure how it performs. 3️⃣ Learn and adapt based on feedback. 💡 A key takeaway for me: "It's not about delivering a perfect product; it's about discovering what truly adds value to your customer." This mindset resonates deeply, especially in today’s fast-paced business world. Have you applied this approach in your work or studies? Let’s discuss! #TheLeanStartup #MBAInsights #Innovation #BusinessLeadership Robert Manasier, Brian Meece, Woolf University Malta, Iasha King, Saba Afshar

PitchBook's annual #universityrankings are back for 2024. Their list #compares schools by tallying up the number of #alumni #entrepreneurs who have #raised #venturecapital since 2013. University of California, Berkeley is No. 1 overall in the #undergraduate rankings, moving past Stanford University, last year's top school. For the #graduate rankings, Stanford University took the top spot. Harvard Business School's MBA program is far and away the top school for #founders with #businessdegrees — its 1,881- #alumnifounder count is 58% more than No. 2 Stanford University Graduate School of Business business sc. Lidel Kelly Toh PH.D. we should create a similar ranking for African Business Schools in view of generating a league whereby the best Business Schools on the continent collaborate on creating symbiotic Entrepreneur & VC hubs perhaps in collaboration with StartupBlink @Global Challenge Hub of Imperial College Business School Imperial Enterprise Lab etc. Imperial College London

A Harvard Business School Club of Charlotte must attend event on May 22nd, 6-7:00AM with HBS Professor Frank Cespedes who will discuss “Linking Strategy & Sales in an Entrepreneurial Venture” Contact - Marci Lisee [email protected] Registration - https://lnkd.in/ekcaMWHv Location: Virtual - Zoom Zoom Link will be sent out Program Description: For most ventures, and especially early stage ones, the biggest expenditures after product development are the money and time spent on linking sales with growth goals. Research indicates a big gap in this area, with wasted effort for both entrepreneurs and investors. Drawing on data and examples from a new book, Frank Cespedes in this session focuses on ways to close that gap and improve selling in a venture. You will leave this session with a better understanding of how to get better ROI from marketing and sales investments, the challenges of change in buying processes as your venture grows and the implications for building effective business development in areas including hiring, training, and performance management practices (spoiler alert: even early stage ventures should be engaging in performance reviews). Speaker Bio: Frank Cespedes teaches at Harvard Business School and for 12 years was Managing Partner at a professional services firm. He has worked with many companies around the world on go-to-market and strategy issues, and has been a Board member at consumer goods, industrial products, services, PE and VC firms. He has written for numerous publications, including Harvard Business Review, European Business Review, Organization Science, California Management Review, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. He is also the author of six books including Aligning Strategy and Sales which was cited as “the best sales book of the year” (Strategy & Business), “a must read” (Gartner), and “perhaps the best sales book ever” (Forbes). His newest book is Sales Management That Works: How to Sell in a World That Never Stops Changing (Harvard Business Review Press). #business #HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL #economy #strategy #startup #Bloomberg #technology #investment #breakingnews #hbs #charlotte #diversity #women #empowerment #ecommerce #economy #fintech #graduation #jobseekers #banking #business #work #networking #development #bloombergnews #recruitment #smallbusiness #economicdevelopment #nonprofitsorganizations #ecommerce #banking #financeandeconomy #startupbusiness #startupecosystem #inclusionanddiversity #streaming #movies #videomarketing #womenbusinessowners #television #film #learning #future #invest #stockmarkets #diversity #womenempowerment #entrepreneurship #startups #venturecapital #angelinvesting #investingintech #investingindIVERSITY #femaleInvestors #femalefounders #femaleentrepreneurs #startupfunding #startupnation #startuplife #vcfunded #NCstartups #NCtech #NCinnovation
