Every month we invite industry leaders for a Lunch & Learn at the orq.ai office with our GTM team. This week, we had the honor of hosting Laura Mather and Mike Eynon. They are Silicon Valley veterans with a strong track record in Enterprise Technology. They recently moved from SF to Amsterdam and are altruistically supporting startups. Every session leaves us with multiple nuggets of insights. This week's learnings for me: - Growing in a new emerging market and defining the market requires completely different GTM mechanisms - Be strategic about your demo features. Which ones give a quick wow factor, but actually will not be the most important in the day-to-day features - Neurotically focus on stakeholder mapping and develop custom scripts for each one in Enterprise deals - Startups start too late with analyst relationships and working with analysts to define new emerging domains Next steps for us: - Identify and invest a bit more in demo features - Do another roadshow with Analysts for updates and market definitions - Find ways to clear the compliance, infosec and procurement hurdles in earlier stages to smoothen the landing of Enterprise deals Guess we have stuff to do for the weekend! #llmops #generativeAI #genai #startup
