THE LITTLE TECH AGENDA. — Marc Andreessen & Ben Horowitz. Andreessen Horowitz, a16z. July 5, 2024. 👇 It’s the new… “It’s time to build”. —Marc Andreessen. Andreessen Horowitz, a16z. April 18, 2020. 👇 “Little Tech is our term for tech startups, as contrasted to Big Tech incumbents”. … “We believe bad government policies are now the #1 threat to Little Tech.” … “The time has come to stand up for Little Tech”. … “A startup is what happens when a plucky group of outcasts and misfits comes together with a dream, ambition, courage, and a particular set of skills – to build something new in the world, to build a product that will improve peoples’ lives, and to build a company that may go on to create many more new things in the future. The enormous advantage of any startup is a clean sheet of paper – a single shot to imagine and realize a different and better world”. … “OPPORTUNITY Reversing ruinous policies is just one side of the coin. We can also imagine positive policies that encourage tech startups to flourish – benefiting those startups and their customers, and forcing big incumbents to stay vital and dynamic due to startup competition”. … https://lnkd.in/dW27gJhf by #MarcAndreessen #BenHorowitz #AndreessenHorowitz #a16z 👇 In Silicon Valley, the world's most innovative Tech Hub, the most enlightened minds are posing the problem of THE LITTLE TECH AGENDA. 👇 What is the debate Europe? What is the regulatory framework in Europe? 1. For new growth. 2. For a governance that motivates founders, co-founders and the team to the maximum. Attracting venture capital. Understanding the unit economics of a venture capital fund. 3. For a job market that pivots day-by-day and stage-by-stage in the innovation industry. Considering there are countries in Europe where a plumber or an electrician no longer hires an employee... Given the labor regulations. This is real life.
