𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦: Last week, in an 𝐇𝐏𝐂/𝐀𝐈/𝐂𝐀𝐄/𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐃 Poll, I asked the following question: "As HPC/Simulation expert, what's your major concern?" This poll attracted 9047 impressions, and 166 colleagues voted as follows: 1. Limited HPC hardware: 33.3% 2. High computing cost: 31.5% 3. Long wait for simulation results: 23.8% 4. Data security: 11.4% These results reflect our SimR target community of HPC experts and simulation engineers aiming at automating processes that run simulations on HPC infrastructures such as the 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗢𝗽𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗥 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, to dramatically increase engineers’ productivity, reduce the HPC experts burden of operating complex HPC infrastructures, and thus increase their company's product quality, competitiveness and innovation.
