Hallo, Amsterdam!! ✈️🇳🇱 What an exciting announcement this morning as WestJet revealed a new seasonal, direct route between Halifax and Amsterdam! This is a route I’ve heard about for years from our Global Bluenosers community living in Amsterdam, so I’m extra excited for those friends and contacts. This means Home is closer for them. It means a vacation to Nova Scotia is easier for their business and personal contacts. And this means a vital economic centre in Europe is now more easily accessible for our Nova Scotian business community. Great news across the board!! Okay folks, you know the drill. New routes only stay or expand when they get used. And used heavily. Amazing work by the Commercial team at Halifax Stanfield as they continue to grow Nova Scotia’s connectivity to the world. Our province owes so much to this dedicated team ❤️ Such great news. What a great way to start the day 😁✈️

Wish I had known this was coming sooner! Having to connect through YUL to get to Fredericton! Would much prefer the direct to Halifax and drive!!
