*Deep breath* Well, this is terrifying, but it's time, and I could use your support! It's called Adapting Every Day. For the last couple of months, I've been building a business online so that I can continue the work I was doing at Reviewed, but on my own (for now). As of today, I have a ✨fully functioning online store✨ full of products curated with the disabled and aging populations in mind! I am considering this a soft launch, as the number of items in the catalog is small at the moment, but everything there can be purchased right now. I have learned so much in this process, because I am not a web or graphic designer, but I hope to keep improving it and that it will be a help to lots of people. Would you take a look? And if you run into any issues, please let me know! Here's to a new chapter. https://lnkd.in/gJDYK29t #disability #a11y #aging #adaptive
I love this! I've missed Reviewed's little accessibility family a ton and I love that you're continuing the work in some form. 💜
This is such a perfect idea for a very real industry gap.
Thank you for your awareness.
Congratulations
Sarah Kovac what a great job you are doing!!! The “ vulnerables” need so much. I do have a product I would like to recommend. Super proud of you 💙
Great site. I checked out the neurodivergence category.
I am so glad you are doing this, this was always some of the most valuable work Reviewed did and I am so happy to see it continuing on with you at the helm! If you ever need anything please let me know
Congratulations, I wish you nothing but success!
Nice work! I particularly like that you have a place to submit products!

5dSarah Kovac This is incredible - what a great idea and such a highly-needed resource. When my mom became suddenly and significantly disabled, it was so hard to find information about products that could help her. It was such an honor to write for you at Reviewed and I am personally hurt by the loss of the resource. As for your site, it looks fantastic and I love that you let people suggest products. One thing I'd suggest changing (if possible), is having more than three categories displayed on the homepage, even if the images have to be a bit smaller. I realize you can click to view more, but I think it could be helpful for viewers to see more initially. I'd also add an image right up top since right now, it's mostly white space and black text. There's nothing wrong with that, I just think an image could make it a bit more visually appealing.
