Wrapping up another whirlwind trip to Israel, and once again, it never feels like enough. In just a few days, over forty meetings with founders, investment partners, industry leaders, and the broader tech ecosystem, all reinforcing what makes this place so special. The energy, resilience, and innovation here are simply unmatched. And yet, we were still far from meeting with everyone we hoped to. Roy Rubin and I have always believed that venture is more than capital. It’s about deep, hands-on partnerships with founders, being in the trenches with them through the challenges of building, scaling, and navigating founder life, because we have been in their shoes. These trips are a reminder of how lucky we are to be part of these journeys, working alongside exceptional entrepreneurs who push boundaries every day. With everything we’re building at R-Squared Ventures and with a new Fund III on the horizon in the coming months, we’re more excited than ever about the road ahead. Already looking forward to the next trip.
Let me know next time you go. I'm dying to broader my Israeli VC network and haven't found the right group to go with.
I still haven't made it to Israel, but it's been on my list for years and I became even more interested in working with so many Israeli colleagues. So glad you've kept those connections strong. Til next time!
Welcome to Eretz Mr Erez. Enjoy your stay. We won’t be around, sorry 😢

1moFWIW, I am a Fractional COO that helps founders exit while optimizing their business. I would love to talk sometime about how I might be of assistance. https://calendly.com/evan-duke-enterprises-fractional-leadership-solutions/30min
