Thanks to our scientific partner 3Bee, we participated in the Biodiversity Element-E project, an initiative that allows us to 'listen' to nature. Using advanced technology, we are monitoring oases to gather vital data on the health of the ecosystems and plan potential restoration strategies in line with European regulatory standards. Research Spotlight: We’ve launched a dataset on Ontario Municipal-level Ecological Footprint and Biocapacity! This data provides a snapshot of local consumption and ecosystem regeneration, helping communities to better understand their environmental impact. This data reveals significant variation in environmental impact across Ontario’s municipalities, with urban areas having higher footprints and rural areas often having a higher Biocapacity, offering insights that can be used to inform local sustainability efforts. It was a fun and meaningful way to reward participants while also making a positive impact on the planet.   By planting these trees, we help offset carbon emissions, improve biodiversity, and support global reforestation efforts.
