However, without cost-effective solutions and focused ongoing professional learning effort to upskill teachers, success will be limited. EdTechs need to step-up, do their homework on cost-effective solutions and partner with school districts to become 'true' partners in learning. 2moEducation needs to focus on educating, not the tech, not the buzzwords. Sadly the EdTech industry is full of snakeoil salesmen, especially when AI gets involved. Workload is improved by incorporating less bells and whistles, not more. What we need is investment in teachers, human-based (not AI) support, and anti-corruption measures including fraud and fraudulent claims investigations against bad actors.
