We loved the opportunity to bring together the Q5 Australia team over an Uber Eats virtual lunch to discuss the importance of IWD to our community. In addition to sharing with the group the women who have most influenced our lives, we also made commitments of actions and behaviours that we would take as a result of the session. These included: = standing up when you hear of inappropriate behaviour and jokes. = continuing to evaluate and ensure fairness and clarity in our recruitment and promotion processes. = support organisations such as Dress for Success Worldwide. = choose books by female authors. = volunteer to help more nfp’s who focus on women’s health and rights in developing countries. Thanks to all the team including Chris Parsons Lyndal Hughes Natalie Firth Freddie Stockwell Alex Dodds Laura Barnes Dimitra Tzerani William M. Hugo Andrews Guillaume Raulin Melanie Wykes for your open participation and support.

Q5 Australia like to be personal. This year we decided to forgo a big team IWD breakfast, and have an informal Friday 'delivery' lunch, where we met in person or virtually to discuss what we can do within our team and with our clients, to enhance the experience of women at work. We then discussed a woman who has influenced us. Guess what? We all said our mums. I added a female leader whom I worked with close to 30 years ago (thank you Jane Hemstritch). Early career experiences are so powerful and stay a lifetime. The photo is a snapshot of some of the amazing females in our Australian team. Thank you Natalie Firth Dimitra Tzerani Laura Barnes Aisha Adams Melanie Wykes for your constant talent and care.
