In September 2021, when most investments were based on zoom interactions with founders, I was lucky to meet Maitham Dib in person in Lisbon during his raise post Y Combinator. It was obvious that what he was building at Junction (formerly Vital) was special but his attention to detail and care for the developer experience was what struck me the most. Point Nine ended up leading Junction (formerly Vital)'s seed round alongside great co-investors Kieran Hill 20VC and Manuel Grossmann Amino Collective. Fast forward to today, the best digital health companies in the world use Junction (formerly Vital) to automate lab and wearable data collection. But what excites me the most is our roadmap moving forward. Data collection is just the beginning for a company building the data backbone for the future of healthcare. Big kuddos to Maitham Dib and team as they announce their $18M Series A led by Sabina Wizander at Creandum. Junction (formerly Vital) is hiring for many positions in London and New York. Join this small but powerful team as they reshape the future of healthcare. Let's go 🚀 (link the Techcrunch in comments) #p9family
