🔋 Net Zero Week 2025: it's time to decarbonise heavy transport HGVs account for just 5% of vehicle miles travelled, yet they’re responsible for nearly 20% of UK domestic transport emissions. As the zero emission vehicle mandate draws closer, the road to decarbonisation is not just about vehicle technology. It is about the infrastructure, control systems and integration needed to make clean freight commercially and operationally viable. We are helping power this transition with solutions including SCADA for diagnostics, control and monitoring, battery energy storage, and ISO 50001-aligned energy optimisation platforms. The shift to net zero freight requires coordination across OEMs, operators, energy providers and integrators. The technology exists. What is needed now is scale, interoperability and resilience.
