I was honored to represent the ASCE Saudi Arabia Section in an enriching discussion on the shift to e-mobility infrastructure at Mobility Live Saudi. With smarter vehicles, it's no longer acceptable to rely on traditional infrastructure! Innovations like geothermal pavements and 3D-printed road panels offer exciting alternatives to explore. The American Society of Civil Engineers ASCE Policy Statement 566 provides a valuable roadmap, highlighting the role of public-private partnerships in driving this transformation. #ASCE #e_infrastructure

In the first week of 2025, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the profound year of progress for Transport in Qatar and we look forward to exploring deeper into the advancements of electric transportation technology! Qatar has made significant strides towards advancing the atmosphere of transport and strengthening its global position by developing land, maritime and air transport infrastructure by using advanced technologies on a regional and global scale, in the year 2024. These efforts are to align with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the goals of the Transportation Master Plan for Qatar (TMPQ 2050). The European Defence Fund has announced today the Work Program for 2025 for R&D projects with the total budget over 1B€! A great opportunity for defence industry to develop solutions into capabilites that will have an impact on the future battlefield. Particularly good to see a call in the list that I had a chance to help design - Drone-based affordable mass munitions (DAMM). 🧨SMEs and startups, even those who have not been active in defence sector, take a look at DAMM. 🇺🇦To get Ukrainian expertise and innovations it is enouraged to include Ukrainian tech companies in a consortium.

On 29 April 2024, the National Business Initiative (NBI), endorsed by the Just Energy Transition (JET) Project Management Unit of the Presidency, launched the JET Skilling for Employment Programme (JET SEP).   Why is this programme important?
