Building career networks that are as strong as steel! That was the goal of #USSteel’s first-ever virtual internal networking event organized by its MentorMe mentoring initiative. The event, dubbed Speed-Mentoring!, featured structured activities designed to foster meaningful conversations, create lasting professional relationships, and provide insight into different jobs and teams across the company.
Participants expressed overwhelmingly positive feedback, highlighting the importance of creating opportunities for internal networking and collaboration. By broadening their professional circles, participants can leverage diverse perspectives and develop skills that enhance both their personal growth and their ability to make a real impact within our company.
Thank you to everyone who organized and joined this first-of-its-kind event, including: Carolyn Lees-Hotton, Lori Mulig, SPHR, David Coe, Susan Wiirre, Adam Lourie, Henry Ibinson, Sean McCann, PE-PMP, Russ Matthis, Tyler Hackett, Kirn Raymond, Heidi Renfors, Shiuwei (Marc) Ho, Anna Singh, and Balaji Mohanraj.
