Example: We hired three competing teams to prototype a critical component. Only one succeeded, but the insights from the other two helped refine the final solution. Why It’s Worth It: Calculated risks accelerate learning and uncover new paths. 2️⃣ Challenging Assumptions Questioning norms can lead to breakthroughs. Example: While exploring materials, we tested unconventional combinations. Most failed, but one opened new applications. Why It’s Worth It: It reveals opportunities that wouldn’t otherwise emerge. 3️⃣ Investing in Early Feedback Showing customers an early solution reveals alignment—or lack thereof—with their needs.
