And then House of Cards happened along with a rude awakening - dude, are you fxcking with me?! 2️⃣ <<Spotify>> Didn't take long to realize - oh, I can do that too, screw you! Cue Jack Sparrow standoff. Netflix has since been stuck in an ever steeper uphill battle. Now look at Spotify, did the record labels revolt? Lesson? Wanna be a platform? Just don't fxck around. 3️⃣ <<Exhibit B>> TSMC v Samsung Semiconductor For years the two were neck-to-neck, but then why would Apple trust samsungmobile to not steal their tech? You may think you are playing 3D chess, but you are neither as cunning as you perceive, nor as trustworthy as you claim. 4️⃣ <<What do these have to do science publishing?>> The publishing landscape is just as fractured. I would love to see how things will turn out, but I don't want to wait, and I don't like quagmire. Hence, #GlucoXe will play at a level above, backed by an economy + a community.

What makes free markets work? Simple: YOU do. Information is power, and free markets are information-capturing machines. Every time you order something on Amazon, pick an item from the menu at Starbucks, buy a new streaming service, or cancel a monthly subscription, you’re inputting information. As tens of thousands of people like you do the same, prices fluctuate. That’s the market giving its response. Crucially, though, the market can only tell you what is happening. It can’t tell you why. So, how do you go beyond the “what” and dive into the “why” behind your customers’ actions? Enter primary qualitative research. Qual research explores the boundless universe of your customers’ minds. It reveals what makes their decision-making engines tick. Most importantly, it gives you the insights needed to tailor your offering for maximum value. Free markets aren’t just about supply and demand. They’re about hope, trust, dissatisfaction, and desire. If you want to unlock these secrets from your audience, you have to be listening.
