6,100,000 2,600,000 1,200,000 These numbers represent the annual calls for service from some of the police departments that have partnered with Skydio for Drone as First Responder (DFR). Working with agencies that have thousands of officers, we quickly realized that one dock in a hotspot location isn’t enough. 🛑 One dock couldn’t respond to all high-priority calls to provide critical situational awareness. 🛑 One dock couldn’t respond to the body-worn camera location of an officer in need with other calls in progress. 🛑 One dock couldn’t assist in setting up a perimeter when a subject suddenly took off on foot. I certainly wouldn’t want to be the person who had to choose the right call to send a drone. With a Hive model, you don't have to choose. You can respond to more calls, get information to the right people at the right time, and maintain call response 24/7.
This really should be the goal of any and all security technology. From drones to camera analytics to simple door force open alarms. Allow decision makers to have as much context and situational awareness as possible through the use of their systems. Not used to replace or delegate decision making authority.
right, nearly 10 million calls for drone response ? Sounds exaggerated

6moI think the underlying thinking here is important. We ask a LOT of our LEOs and somewhere in there we need to "work smarter not harder" and I think this kind of "business" or "operations/systems" thinking is key (IMHO). (regardless of Skydio or DFR or whatever, it is fortunate though that Skydio adds so much value so easily in this area)
