With a complex tech stack composed of multiple SaaS vendors, cloud services, and PaaS solutions, interruptions are inevitable. It can be challenging to identify the root cause when issues arise out of the blue. Change is constant, whether it's network updates, security modifications, or sudden data influxes impacting performance. The key is to adopt an "experience-first" approach to application monitoring, starting with synthetic user monitoring. This is often a geo-diverse service where it simulates customer activity 24/7 on your application for key workflows (login, add to cart, search, record updates, etc). This allows you to proactively detect issues and ensure the integrity and performance of your solution.
