📌According to the 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 (𝐀𝐃𝐑) which analyzed self-sworn affidavits of 8,337 candidates contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, the number of Crorepati candidates is 2572, which comes down to 31% of the total.
The 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 ‘𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢’ 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, those who have 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐬 1 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐞+ , as a share of total candidates contesting the Lok Sabha polls has doubled since 2009 elections, ADR analysts said.

In 2024 alone, 𝐀𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐚𝐬 751 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐚 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 677 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 2019, 464 in 2014 and 368 in 2009.
📌If we talk about Ruling Party & The Biggest Opposition party in India Which is having the highest no. of Crorepatis:

For BJP the average assets per candidate are at Rs 41.26 crore
For Congress the average assets per candidate are at Rs. 24.72 crore
Overall, The average assets per candidate contesting in 2024 stood at Rs 6.23 crore compared to Rs 4.14 crore in the 2019 elections, Rs 4.92 crore in 2014 and Rs 1.11 crore in 2009.
