After nearly a decade at Intel, a place that felt like home, I’m embarking on a new journey—searching for my next professional challenge. During this time of reflection, interviews, and thinking about my next step, I was reminded of my first role as a process engineer in Neot Hovav, which was about 12 years ago.
Back then, I was a young, sole engineer responsible for two facilities: one in its startup phase, handling industrial volatile waste, and the other, an older facility handling non-volatile waste. One of the issues in the older facility was an agitator in a reactor that kept failing once a year. My task was clear: to find a suitable raw material for an agitator that would remain reliable for the future.
I was still gaining knowledge, and my experience was relatively limited at the time. Still, I had something else: curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and relentless determination to solve problems—no matter what it took.
So, what did I do?
• I looked for a fresh approach.
• I reached out to one of my university professors, an expert in raw materials, and invited him for a tour of the facility (he happily accepted!).
• Together, we analyzed the issue thoroughly. After additional testing, I chose a new raw material for the agitator.
To this day, 12 years later, the agitator continues to function perfectly (yes, I check in now and then 😊).

Because it represents who I am and what I bring to work every single day: I am passionate about tackling challenges, thinking outside the box, and digging deep to identify the root cause of problems. I persist until I find the ultimate solution—one that stands the test of time.

If you know of new opportunities in engineering or challenging technological projects, I’d love to hear about them!
