I’m excited to share that on the 17th of October I graduated on the Renewable Energy Systems master in the department of energy at Politecnico di Torino, with the evaluation of 110/110. It’s been the perfect ending for my three years experience in the project “Technologies for the transitions” with the Green Technologies orientation. This project aims at creating professional figures in the field of the ecological transition, which are of great strategic importance in the framework of the Next Generation EU.

👏 Winner of the "Product Innovation of the Year" is 📢 This evening, the Erneuerbare Energien Hamburg (EEHH) Cluster honored ideas and innovations for the 13th time with the German Renewables Award at the Elb-Panorama in Hamburg. 27 applications were received for the Award 2024 - drone inspection of wind turbines, new types of eFuels, mobile storage for hydrogen transportation and much more In the “Product Innovation of the Year” category, our shareholder Buss Energy Group applied with the Aero Flight Intelligence System for the optimized drone inspection of wind turbines using an adaptive flight system. And we are pleased to announce ... the company is the WINNER 🤩🎆 Congratulations on this great recognition of the work together with Aero Enterprise GmbH on this system.

⚡ Delighted to see our latest AECOM #VirtualConsultation is now live for the #Ceislein Wind Farm for RWE - one of the world's leading renewable energy generators.   🏠 Within the #UK, RWE generates enough electricity to power 10 million homes, equivalent to ~15% of the UK's electricity. In #Scotland, one of the windiest nations in Europe, #RWE owns and operates 10 onshore #windfarms with a combined capacity of 225MW.   🌎 In the face of #climatechange, Scottish Government has set out an ambition to deploy 20GW of onshore wind by 2030. As a representative of a technology development company, attending WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 was an exciting and inspiring experience for me. With exhibitors from all over the world and the latest innovations in the wind energy sector, it was like an energy festival! - More than 1,600 exhibitors: These companies came from 40 different countries and presented both onshore and offshore wind energy solutions - 75,000 square meters of exhibition space: The fair covered a total of 10 halls, three of which were double-height, which shows how big the event was - More than 43,000 visitors: With exhibitors from 100 different countries, it was the meeting point for the global wind energy community - 27 national pavilions: The fair has become an international event with companies from many countries participating with their own national pavilions These figures show that WindEnergy Hamburg is the most important meeting point for the wind energy industry, not only in Europe but worldwide. But the most impressive part of the fair for me was the connections I made with people from all over the world. Whether big companies or start-ups, I was really impressed by the fact that everyone was here with a common goal - to build a sustainable future. It was incredible to talk to people about new projects, collaborations, discuss how we can contribute to the energy transition. Especially with competitors :) The topics featured at WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 included many innovative solutions and strategies that will shape the future of the wind energy sector. Here are the themes that caught my eye at the event: - Repowering - Energy Storage Solutions - Smart Grid Technologies - Drone Technologies - Offshore Wind Energy By focusing on these issues, I see WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 aiming to accelerate the future growth of the sector and contribute more to the energy transition than in the recent past. As I left the show, I realized that the wind energy sector is not only undergoing a technological transformation, but is also building a global community. The wind blowing outside is a reason for people to come together here. This experience was a great source of inspiration for me and I definitely plan to attend again at the next fair! I've mentioned the UK's interest in space - based solar power- here's an example of the innovation underway. Solar Power Satellite designs are well advanced in several nations and the UK Government has confirmed the engineering feasibility of the concept through an independent study. A really interesting area, fascinating to see how it develops. #spacetech #sustainablespace

EGATEC 2024 & North Sea Power House 2nd day of the Egatec conference in Hamburg ended with a highlight: A sharp analysis on economic and regulatory development by representatives from the European Commission, IEA (represented by Dennis Hesseling) and Hydrogen Europe (represented by Jorgo Chatzimarkakis) - moderated by DVGW (Gerald Linke). * Europe should not curtail H2 production artificially by discriminating certain H2 production technologies. * We need more investment into grid infrastructure as the H2-grid is also the enabler of a further growth of renewables. * H2 is the gamechanger that will restructure the international energy trade. Europe has to be quick to stay within the race.
