Here's the truth: Playing it safe won't get you noticed in marketing. You need to be bold if you want to make a big impact in your career. Changing jobs regularly is a good example. It's often seen as a negative thing and definitely risky - I mean, what happens if it doesn't work out? But it's not - in fact, it has given me a broad range of experience at companies of different sizes/industries, experience in different roles and bluntly, has allowed me to progress my career and earn more money. If you're not being pushed creatively, or being promoted/given more responsibility or being rewarded financially, it's time to look for something new. But risk isn't just about changing jobs. It's about: 💪 Pushing for creative ideas that are different 💪 Speaking up with a dissenting opinion 💪 Taking on projects that stretch your skills These are things that don't come naturally to me, but I actively push myself to do them in order to continue to grow.
