How has it been 6 months since I started at Salt Dubai?! On reflection it was a big role of the dice to up sticks and move to another country with a baby and move to the unknown however I can safely say it was the best decision! The saying "Growth comes when you step out of your comfort zone" couldn't be truer and I'm so grateful for how much I've learnt in the last 6 months 💫 When Elliot Dell came to visit the Dubai office recently he asked me what was the biggest difference between the UK and here and I said "everyone here is happy!" and it really is true. Being in a country heavily made up of expats brings a culture of collaboration and wanting to see each other succeed which I am loving!...I think the sun helps too 😝 If you are thinking of making a big life decision but your comfort zone is holding you back ask yourself "Will I regret not taking this step later?" If the answer is yes....that’s a sign you should go for it!!! 💫
I so agree.. I just need that "one" opportunity in dubai. Check out some of the global companies I've worked for and now I'm into AI Automation.
I think this is the beauty of living in UAE, that it gives us the opportunity to learn more and meet people from different cultures with embracing it. ✨ wishing you all the best Naomi 🙏
It’s amazing how stepping into the unknown can lead to the best experiences. I completely get what you mean about the expat culture; being around people who’ve all made a big move creates such a supportive and motivated environment. And of course, the sunshine definitely helps!
