Factory Floor-to-Loading Zone with unsupervised FSD a ~1.2M stretch. For those who’ve experienced FSD or seen videos you’re probably thinking, “Big Deal”. Until you realize that that job/task has been eliminated. 1 or more employees did that. They had to then get a ride back for the next vehicle, which means possibly more than 1 employee/vehicle dedicated to that job/task. Also eliminated. Probably still not impressed? See where this goes. Finished vehicles load themselves onto Tesla Semis, themselves equipped with unsupervised FSD. The Semis head to Tesla sales centers, the vehicles unload themselves into designated spots. Tesla robot preps vehicle for delivery and handles the delivery process to the customer. The only human in a future finished vehicle-to-delivery to customer business process flow is the customer himself/herself. Not to mention that this might be only during the transition period while vehicle ownership is still a thing and we haven’t all changed consumer behavior to taking robotaxis. The above flow would also apply to 3rd party fleet centers, Tesla releasing robotaxis to portions of the Tesla Network that need to be supplemented with Tesla owned robotaxis.

【Tesla Robotaxi: What are the Challenges Ahead?】https://lnkd.in/gYMqcazy Tesla's new AI strategy, launched in 2023, focuses on an E2E deep learning neural network that combines perception, localization, planning, and vehicle control into a single system. This network will be trained through reinforcement learning using data from millions of Tesla vehicles. While this approach sounds promising, it’s still unproven for AVs. The key challenges are whether the technology will be safe enough for self-driving vehicles and when it will be ready for mass deployment, with safety standards at least 10 times better than human drivers. It is likely that the technology won’t be proven until around 2030, with deployment possibly delayed further by regulatory approvals. #MarkLines #automotive #VSI #Tesla

https://lnkd.in/erMKrygP #Tesla just unveiled its new cybercab and robovan. Tesla plans to start mass producing them in 2026. It all comes down to the software, more specifically the AI behind the software. The bottom line is that you need to get these vehicles out on the road so the algorithms can be tested, that's the real way to really get the AI more advanced. Question is where and in what capacity. More importantly, aside from #NVDA which other suppliers are critical to make this whole thing work. That's going to be the big trade. #stockmarket #stocktrading #AI #machinelearning
