🎬This diagram helps explain how business continuity supports operational resilience through an acceptable process performance level: ✅ Identify risks and critical processes. ✅ Create business continuity plans. ✅ Improve business continuity maturity. ✅ Test, validate and improve your business continuity strategies. ✅ Maintain awareness of your business continuity program. ✅ Establish effective business continuity governance. ✅ Prepare, execute, and improve upon your business continuity process. ✅ Target and track your performance level. ✅ Show business value and support for your associates, suppliers, customers, and shareholders. 💡 A concise diagram can provide a clear, visual representation of complex systems, processes, and risks, which makes it easier to understand, communicate, and manage resilience efforts. #businessvalue #processperformance #continuousimprovement #operationalresilience
I do like the diagram. However does it necessarily follow that ‘100% process performance’ pre disruption is even feasible and/ or the target for recovery? There are many reasons why processes run at less than nameplate capacity but are still preforming ‘accceptably’. I often find that people struggle to describe ‘normal’ which can make it a challenge to draft a plan to get back there…
Thanks again, Michael Janko MBCP, MBCI, ARM, CBCLA! ⭐
Business continuity ensures critical processes remain functional during disruptions by identifying risks, creating recovery plans, and continuously improving strategies—ultimately supporting Operational resilience. This diagram explains it clearly!
Very interesting, maybe you should do a short podcast on this diagram or a short video
Love the visual. Prepare, test, drill, improve.
