View From - Friends of Friends of Friends (and some 'man shed' time)
Late (or perhaps early post this week). Finally enjoyed a day of sunshine on sunday + I spent saturday 'fettling' which is always a very good use of time. In a world where email and powerpoint is our main weekly construction, it is also nice to make something or fix something that actually exists. I spent saturday working on my house, pointing brickwork and cleaning out my 'man shed' which is now full of space ready for more fettling projects.
Last week was a week filled with new phraktion partner introductions, so some protected 'man shed' time was needed. When we started phraktion our first partners to join where drawn from our own direct circle of trusted colleagues, who we had the good fortune to work with in our own pharma careers. As our network began to grow, these friends then recognised the potential of phraktion and began to refer us to their trusted colleagues. One year later, with 338 partners within our network, we now see a steady flow of partner recommendations as our trusted friends, tell their trusted friends, who tell their trusted friends. We continue to meet everyone that joins phraktion, where we have one or more introductory calls with each new partner, and then spend time with them educating on how to make the most of being a phraktion partner and how to connect and collaborate with what is becoming an enormously powerful circle of connected experts.
I must have undertaken over 200 introductory calls in the last 12 months, and what continues to amaze me is the depth of experience and the substantial knowledge and skills that our partner possess. Add to this, that all of our partners have a 'can do' attitude, where they not only advise on an issue, but roll their sleeves up and get it fixed, you really can start to feel the power and potential of over 6000 years of pharma experience.
We really do seem to be assembling a power house of likeminded experts, willing and able to unravel the issues that pharma faces on a daily basis. Our partners have some of the most able friends that I have ever met. Each having had a successful career in their chosen field of excellence, and now wanting to work on a more phraktional and flexible basis with smart clients.
I truly love meeting the friends of friends of friends each week, and sharing the phraktion model with them. If you too like the sound of phraktion and wish to engage one of our amazing partners, just drop me a line. And if you are an aspiring consultant wishing to join a vibrant and connected network of likeminded experts, then I would also love to start a conversation.
Rest assured we will not be meeting in my shed, even if there is now plenty of space.
