Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay, and this year's theme is Mental Health at Work. With much of our time spent at the office, fostering a safe and healthy environment is essential for mental well-being. Everyone manages stress differently, so we asked our HR team to share three quick tips to help you maintain a healthy mind while at work: 🌟Take breaks: Step away from your desk, stretch, and take deep breaths to recharge. 🌟Prioritize: Feeling overwhelmed? Break tasks into manageable steps to create a sense of achievement throughout the day. 🌟Seek Support: If you're feeling overwhelmed, don't hesitate to ask for help. Connection can make a big difference. You can also use resources like employee assistance programs or other mental health support services. Remember, taking care of your mental health is a continuous journey. How do you care for your mental health at work? If you have any tips, share them below!

⭐️ PROVIDING GOOD LEADERSHIP IN DIFFICULT TIMES IS ESSENTIAL ⭐️ World Mental Health Day is celebrated every year on 10 October. Mental health is an uncomfortable subject for many people, usually due to a lack of awareness, education and perspective. The theme this year is "Workplace mental health". The theme highlights the importance of addressing mental health and well-being in the workplace for the benefit of people, organisations and communities. In the workplace, leadership and management are key to promoting mental health from the top down. As leaders there is a responsibility to know our teams - their strengths and challenges and how best they can be supported. Our new ways of working have in many cases left people with a lack of social interaction and feeling isolated which contributes to stress, anxiety and even burnout for many. Mental health matters every day, not just today. Let's create a world where everyone feels safe to talk about their struggles and where kindness and compassion are the norm. Remember: 📌 It's okay to ask for help. 📌 It's okay to rest. 📌 It's okay to not be okay. #worldmentalhealthday #workplacementalhealth #awareness #support

4moI love the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 grounding technique. I use it lots to manage my stress. If anyone wants to try: name 5 things you can see; then name 4 things you can hear; then name 3 things you can feel; then name 2 things you can smell; finish with naming 1 thing you can taste.
