I had the privilege of partnering with Francisco Partners to share ***8 Principles for Getting to Value with GenAI*** at their Product, Technology, and Human Capital conference. Having seen a hundreds of POCs across many industries, firms, and use-cases, our AWS Private Equity team was able to surface some patterns that differentiated those who were successful in getting to production from those who seemed stuck on the sidelines. Part of how AWS is supporting our Private Equity customers is by providing real, tangible, actionable ways to move forward with implementing each of these principles inside portfolio companies towards realizing real value with this technology. Take a peek - let me know how these might help you get clearer on what to do with GenAI!

What Happens in Vegas... Inspires Beyond Vegas The image below inspired me many ways . They say, *"What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,"* but as I immerse myself in the energy of AWS re:Invent, I already know that’s not the case this time. Here in Las Vegas, amidst the buzz of innovation and collaboration, I’ve been soaking in groundbreaking ideas, engaging discussions, and transformative insights. AWS re:Invent is a hub of possibility, and while I’m still here, I’m already thinking about how to take these lessons far beyond the Strip. The energy of this event is contagious, and the value lies in what we choose to do with it. As I continue to explore, connect, and learn here in Vegas, I’m focused on how to turn this inspiration into action—both for myself and for my team. To my fellow attendees: What’s been your biggest takeaway so far? Let’s keep the conversation going, even beyond the neon lights. #Innovation #AWSReInvent #InspirationInAction #superchargingsuccess #Nordics #Benlux #GenAI #Innovation #LasVegas

🔥 The Most Controversial Tech Leader You Need to Know About: Dr. Werner Vogels From operating rooms to operating systems - this isn't your typical CTO story. Meet Dr. Werner Vogels, the rebel architect behind Amazon's cloud revolution. Picture this: Amazon's CTO shows up at re:Invent, their biggest tech conference, wearing a Street Sweeper Social Club t-shirt (an anti-corporate rage band) 🤘. That's Werner for you - refusing to fit into the corporate mold while being one of tech's most powerful VPs. But here's what really sets him apart: While most tech leaders chase complexity, Werner champions "Frugal Architecture" - a radical approach that's both cost-effective AND environmentally conscious. He's proving that the future of tech doesn't have to cost the Earth (literally). His journey? Mind-blowing: - Started as a medical doctor - Transformed into a computer science virtuoso - Became the mastermind behind Amazon's cloud infrastructure - Now influences how the entire world builds technology The best part? He delivers technical keynotes with the charisma of a rock star, making complex concepts feel like exciting stories. No wonder he's nicknamed the "Cloud Father" 🌩️ Follow Werner for a masterclass in technical leadership with a rebellious twist 🚀 #TechLeadership #CloudComputing #Innovation #TechRebel #AWS
