The Sabarmati Report Music Review: The soundtrack of The Sabarmati Report serves as a bridge between the past and present, perfectly complementing the film's narrative. Each track is a testament to the composers' and singers' ability to evoke emotions and tell stories through music. https://lnkd.in/grSZfaR7

When I read & listened to this music video, I thought it was quite powerful. Many of us are so afraid to really look at the parts of ourselves (our shadows) we deem to be unacceptable, perhaps because we were told as children that those parts of us are bad in some way. But we also all have light & dark within us in another way, both which can have negative & positive qualities. There’s a story I heard a while ago: It says that there is a black wolf and a white wolf fighting within all of us. When asked which wolf wins, the answer was ‘the one we feed' which actually needs to be both in order to maintain balance. (The whole story is actually more detailed.) What do the lyrics below and this story spark in you? LYRICS: Can you hear the darkness knocking? Do you dare to open the door? Can you hear the silent screams Coming from within your very own core? Without light You can't see the dark And without darkness You can't see the light Both of them, in equal parts, Are within you, are inside Stop ignoring your darkness And open your heart For every heartbeat is light shining through Start burning holes Watch the walls fall apart Shine light to the dark place That is you The room will get brighter The longer you are here Darkness to shadows to glowing lights Don't be afraid to face it Welcome your darkness No need to fear Credits: Songwriter and Production: Clara Sophia & Yuval Babayoff #LightAndDarkWithin #ShadowParts #PetwellCreativeEnterprises https://lnkd.in/gpUacpEz

Music for one musician (proposal 11). Improvisation on September the 18th 2023 at 21:29 (excerpt 5). Better with some headphones maybe. Finishing the editing of some already "old recordings". Can spend hours on this, days, weeks, or months afterwards. Nothing frankly great. Just for my archives. I relisten to it, several times. I remember it. And then, when starting a new improvisation, I polish it up, step by step.

Music Production by DFAD Composed by Dmitrii Miachin “Wild Life” is a journey through the lush world of Kerpal, where the soundtrack is an integral part of the overall experience. The music mirrors the environment, making every sound an element of the world’s rich musical fauna. Bird songs in dense jungles become delicate flute melodies, each species contributing its unique tune. Rustling bushes and creaking branches translate into musical notes, adding order to the chaotic layers of this randomized environment. DFAD's approach turns every interaction into part of the game’s musical landscape and harmony map. Larger creatures and mystical elements are accompanied by lower rumbling sounds, creating a magical and mysterious atmosphere. Every sound, from the whoosh of wind through the trees to the subtle movements of insects or large creatures, is translated with musical instrument and harmonizing to create an absolutely surreal world. Over the course of the past year my work with Digital Realty has grown and grown, and a lot of that has to do with the expansion into supporting the technology behind AI. The pipeline for new development spaces and computing space is experiencing a rate of astonishing growth, and I do enjoy being part of creating those spaces. It takes me all over the world while working in my home office, and on any given day I will be involved in construction projects from Germany to Dublin to Virginia to Silicon Valley to Australia to Singapore and many many spaces inbetween. The work is quite rewarding. But I'm a user of technology as well, in the music half of my life. As a musician and songwriter I much prefer to work with traditional instruments, but I have gotten involved in the past year with AI music. The technology is still fairly rudimentary, and to the trained ear AI is easy to recognize which is a problem in rock, classical and jazz music, but the audience has been growing in areas such as dance and electronic music. I did a number of sessions in 2024 with a group of Franciscan Monks working as a producer and songwriter (full story at http://fmam.band) and while the methods we used to record the music were traditional ones, the actual sound they wanted was to sound closer to "AI Music" than traditional music techniques will sound. I spent a LOT of time working on re-creating that sound, and understanding how that sound happens. One of AI Music's great faults is that it all sounds similar, and defeating that limitation takes a human touch. And that led to something else (networking is important in everything, my friends) - Producing an album of actual AI generated music for a specific audience - the electro disco music scene in Europe. A year ago I would have told you that this isn't even possible. I can tell you now that it's already out there: I worked on it. Unlike many of my colleagues in music I do not believe that AI music will replace musicians, band, or songwriters. I think they can co-exist, and even intermingle, but not replace. I do believe that there is an audience for this music though - and it has given me the opportunity to stretch into a style of music I would have never considered on my own. I've told no one about this project outside of friends and family since the first mix became available, and much to my surprise it's getting a lot of streams from central Europe and Malaysia. Want to hear it? The artist is called The Antinomy Insurgency, and the DJ mix of the album is out - 10 songs blended together into a single lengthy mix: The RubAIyatt of Omar Khayyam. It's available wherever you get your streaming music. This is the Spotify link. https://lnkd.in/gjCVRYbb

New on the site from our Music Editor, Kerry Dexter: Music for Centering and Focus As circumstances of all sorts continue to shift, and information of all sorts arrives from all directions, making time for centering and focus can be useful. It can also be challenging. Music can help with that. Giving the time needed to focus on one song, to center on repeated listenings of a favorite—or a whole orchestra piece or a whole album—can be refreshing. It can also offer space for new ideas to appear, new perspectives to evolve. Both of those may well be needed in these shifting times.
