I was r*ped. Andrew Tate is a terrorist against women. I don’t need Spotify hosting an instruction guide on it for others. Gosh I’m angry. 🤬 He’s not an influencer. He’s a charged s*x trafficker and r*pist. He has escaped possible conviction thanks to the influence of another criminal perpetuator of s*xual violence. I’ve processed my trauma so let me be very clear - r*pists live amongst us. They are the men in our offices and friendship groups and social circles. They live in our homes. Allowing this content to be streamed into young ears only perpetuates this. The incel ecosystem is a web of turning adolescent ignorance and burgeoning shame around s*x, into a mentality of aggression, assumed dominance and entitlement over women. It tells men that they can treat women like objects. This content existing in such public space also tells young women that men can (and do) get away with it. It tells us to lose hope, to just accept it and not fight for the ownership of our own bodies. This content is, as Christina Minshull said ‘more than hate speech, if you look it up it’s a step by step instructional manual.’ Ironically, this mentality and behaviour will only make lonely men even lonelier, but it’s the victims of the violence I feel sorry for. If you’ve ever thought ‘just ignore him’ I want you to realise this has real impact. Not on a set of faceless victims and perpetrators, but on real people. Including me. Spotify TAKE IT DOWN. You have my deep admiration, support and my gratitude

Be careful the tech giants are not in our side! LinkedIn has deleted a friend's post Emma Freivogel about a man that called us both "men blaming bitch*s like you" when we're talking about mysogyni against the way she dress and use makeup. She was sharing a printscreen with his profile and his words...

As an ex senior employee of Spotify it’s an embarrassment and I know many who work there will see this and not be able to say much, but just to help share the disappointment I am posting here.

As a mum of two boys I find it abhorrent - doesn’t this illustrate so much about what is systemically wrong and needs fixing? Thank you for sharing your experience to highlight this, and for sharing the petition. Signed.

Appalling... I'm so sorry for what happened to you and can't believe Spotify are giving this vile individual a platform, particularly in light of today's news that a murderer viewed his material the night before carrying out his actions.
