This week, I had the honor of speaking to young Jewish volunteers from abroad who have chosen to serve in the IDF as lone soldiers. Their presence is a powerful reminder of the unbreakable connection between Israel and the Jewish diaspora. Despite the challenges, these individuals have made the courageous decision to defend the Jewish homeland. At the LSC, we do everything we can to support these lone soldiers and allow them to focus on their military service without having to worry about their personal support system. We strive to give them a sense of home away from home, so they can devote themselves fully to protecting the Jewish state
